French Barometer and Société des Lunetiers History Added
A late 19th-century French aneroid barometer has joined the collection, accompanied by a new history of the Société des Lunetiers.
A new French open-dial , dating from around 1890–1900, has been added to the collection. Although its dial prominently bears the name Fremy, Bruxelles, it also carries the distinctive SL emblem of the Société des Lunetiers, providing an interesting example of the commercial links between French instrument suppliers and Belgian retailers at the end of the 19th century.
