Huger Digital Altimeter-Barometer Joins the Collection
A pocket-sized Huger EB833 from around 1997 brings an early Motorola silicon sensor into the collection.
The collection has a new arrival: a Huger EB833 Digital Altimeter-Barometer, made around 1997 for the German brand Huger from Villingen. It packs an altimeter, a barometer with weather forecasting, a thermometer, a clock with alarm, a stopwatch and a calendar into a case weighing under 100 grams. Inside sits an early Motorola silicon MEMS pressure sensor dated 1997, still with its factory calibration seals intact. The instrument comes complete with its original faux leather case and neck cord, and it still works.
