Recorder Pen Rinse now in the shop
A small brush-applicator bottle of pen cleaning fluid, made for the routine care of barograph, thermograph and hygrograph pens.
Recording ink is glycerine based and never fully dries, which is why it slowly clogs the slit of the pen: the trace goes pale, then skips, then stops. The usual remedy is a wash in alcohol, and the usual obstacle is that this means taking the pen off every time.
is that wash in a more convenient form — a 10 ml bottle with a brush in the cap and a wiper in the neck, so the pen gets the right amount of fluid and nothing else does. It leaves no residue, so nothing needs rinsing off afterwards.
