SundO Baro Discograph Joins the Collection
A disc barograph made by Stäcker & Olms of Hamburg around 1980, a direct descendant of the firm's pre-war "Writing Weather Clock", has been added to the collection.
The collection has been enriched with a , a disc barograph produced by the Hamburg firm of around 1980. The model continues a line that the company's catalogue of the 1930s presented as „Die schreibende Wetteruhr“ ("The Writing Weather Clock"). Then as now, it was offered as a recorder that hangs on the wall like an ordinary aneroid barometer and is well suited to ships thanks to its low sensitivity to vibration.
