A commercial invoice issued by the company E. Hüe Fils on April 12, 1907 records the delivery to Monsignor Hertz of Roanne of two banjo-form barometers and one repaired mechanism for an aneroid barometer, for a total amount of 46.70 francs after discount.

- The lower and central sections of the document are filled in by hand in black ink, written in a characteristic early-20th-century business cursive; the document bears the original signature of E. Hüe. The annotation reads as follows:
- “Sir, I have the honour to inform you that the barometers referred to in the invoice above were sent to you today by postal shipment weighing 10 kilograms to the railway station. While awaiting further instructions, please accept, Sir, the expression of my sincere respect.”
A rectangular sheet of paper measuring 21 × 27 cm in vertical orientation. The upper section of the sheet is framed by a richly decorated company letterhead, executed in letterpress printing from an engraved plate. The paper is light cream in colour, with no visible texture. The elaborate ornamental cartouche includes medallions with profile portraits, laurel wreaths, and decorative ribbons bearing the inscription “Maison fondée en 1865.” The design features a characteristic mixture of decorative serif typefaces, italics, and narrow grotesques used for the administrative details.
