Skrufs Glasbruk

Skrufs Glasbruk is a family-owned glassworks founded in 1897 in the town of Skruv, Sweden. The factory specializes in the handcrafted production of high-quality utilitarian glassware, including glasses, pitchers, vases, and bowls. Skruf’s products are renowned for their classic design and are made from hand-blown crystal glass. These pieces adorn Swedish diplomatic offices and are used in the Swedish Parliament.

The glassworks is open to visitors year-round, offering the opportunity to watch glassblowers at work. The factory shop features all current design lines as well as discounted items with minor imperfections.

Across from the glassworks, in a red building, lies the Skruf museum, showcasing glassware produced throughout the factory’s history. Previously, this building served as a grinding workshop and now functions as a café and museum, open during the summer.

Skrufs Glasbruk is part of the so-called “Kingdom of Crystal” (Glasriket) in southeastern Småland, Sweden, a region famous for its glassmaking traditions.
